The Body: Titanium & Sculpted Steel

The pen's foundation is solid titanium — lightweight, virtually indestructible, selectively anodized gold, and possessed of a cool, refined presence in the hand. Draped over the barrel and cap are engraved and sculpted stainless steel overlays, each surface alive with a sweeping fantasy scene: glamorous women and prowling panthers rendered in breathtaking relief. This is the work of the late José de Braga, completed in November 2003 — one of his early collaborations, and a testament to a lifetime of mastery. The carving is fluid, dramatic, and deeply personal, carrying the unmistakable hand of an artist who understood that a pen could be a canvas.

The Clip: Solid 18K Gold Panther

Crowning the cap is a clip unlike any other — a solid 18K gold sculpted panther, crouched and coiled with predatory elegance. Cast and finished to the highest standard, it echoes the fantasy world carved into the overlays below, unifying the pen's visual narrative from cap to barrel.

The Nib: Hand-Engraved 18K Gold by Sam Alfano

The writing instrument at the heart of this pen is an 18K gold medium nib, hand-engraved by Sam Alfano — widely regarded as one of the foremost master engravers working today.
